All-around Simplicity, All-around Perfection
This bar-style mobile offers compact and amazingly slim dimensions at a depth of only 9.9mm. This slender communication tool puts the world in the palm of your hand; functionality is in no way compromised by its sleek and portable form. When not in use, the unobtrusive Samsung E200 easily slps into pockets and bags without leaving any creases or bulges.
Samsung SGH-E200 is remarkably slim and features a stylish candy-bar form. Remember the old Samsung X120? This seems to be an updated version of the X120 with new features and better looks. The phone has a simple and compact construction and offers great functionality. Whether you keep it in your hand or in your pocket, the phone fits perfectly and seems to have the right measures for both cases. Just under the 10 mm barrier, E200 handset measures 108 x 45 x 9.9mm and weighs only 90 grams (including battery).
The compound used doesn’t give users the impression of a cheap material; on the contrary, it feels rich and practical (doesn’t catch fingerprints). The slim form still permitted the Korean company to include a microSD card slot for memory expansion on the right side of the phone. The dual volume key has been placed opposite, on the left side just under the USB slot, that can also be used for charging purposes or to attach any compatible headset. The 1.3 Megapixel camera on the back of the phone enables users to capture snapshots or record clips anytime they’re on the move. The keypad is easy to handle and looks simple and nice. The design of the handset is characterized by slimness and simplicity. It seems that this is what most people are looking for these days, and Samsung understood that at the right time and now gathers the fruits of its labor.

Solid Mobility: Tough as Nails
Water repellant and resistant to dust, Samsung M110 is the perfect outdoor mobile phone!
Samsung’s Solid makes much of its strong points – that is, that it’s capable of withstanding a bit of bashing and splashing that would floor less macho mobiles. The toughest phone on the market, the Samsung M110 is certified with dust-protected and splash-proof water resistant ratings, so it can stand up to the rough and tumble of your rugged lifestyle, while providing you wiht the conveniences of the modern world.
But while it’s tempting to test a tough-guy phone to destruction, Samsung’s Solid is pitched more as a mobile built for outdoors enthusiasts and trades people rather than as a phone built for post-Armageddon texting.A few other manufacturers have introduced ruggedised phones before, but this is Samsung’s first effort. It’s dust- and water-resistant to the IEC IP54 standard, and is encased in shock-resistant thick rubber bodywork. That means it can take splashing, but not total immersion, and will bear dropping but not crushing.
Its design is quite a conventional-looking candybar, and the feature rundown isn’t something to get tech-heads drooling. It has a basic VGA camera panelled into the back, with a photo light that doubles as a flashlight. There’s no music player or swappable memory, although there is an FM radio inside. And it’s a dual-band GPRS handset rather than one delivering multimedia goodies at 3G connection speeds.
Key Features:
- Rubberized Shell & Durable LCD
- Water /Dust Resistance
- FM Radio
- Flash light
- 64 Polyponics (MP3 Ringtone)
- Carabiner Strap

The Slimmest Camera Phone
The Slimmest Camera Phone When slim says it all Samsung answers with the slimmest camera phone.
Overall, the X610 is an easy notebook to use. I found typing on the small keyboard a breeze except for its lack of dedicated <Page Up> and <Page Down> keys; these actions require combining the <Fn> key with an arrow key, a big minus. A handful of nice extras supplement the X610’s basic notebook ports: a FireWire port and an SD memory card reader that also takes Memory Sticks. A Wi-Fi switch is another welcome touch.
Expandability, however, is not the X610’s strong suit. I found the mylar-sheathed 80GB hard drive easy enough to replace, despite having to detach it from a delicate ribbon cable. But increasing memory yourself without taking the unit back to the shop probably would not be worth the trouble. With 256MB built in, the X610 has only one user-accessible memory chip, a 256MB SODIMM roughly secured by two small screws I nearly lost in the open case. The memory compartment extends unusually far inside the case, so if you drop a screw, you’ll have to shake the notebook to get the screw out. You would have to discard this SODIMM before installing a 512MB chip for a maximum of 768MB.
Key Features:
Slim and Chic Style. At a feathery 75g and with ultra-slim 111×46×11.88 mm dimensions, Samsung X610’s slim design will hardly make an impression on your shirt pocket or handbag.
Rotating VGA Camera. This slim bar-type beauty incorporates an incredible, high quality VGA Camera that produces vivid images.
Video Recording.Shoot up to 10 seconds of full Motion JPEG to keep your moving memories close to your heart.
65K Color Screen Display. The 65K color TFT screen will show off the character of your colors as you view MMS and downloaded pictures or play games.
64 Chord Polyphonic Ringtones.Set your ringtone for a spark of pleasure and hear it with a chorus of 64 instruments playing your tune. Samsung X610’s 64 chord polyphonic ringtones make up for a richer, more refined tunes that add flair to your mobile experience.
Personal Information Management. Take charge of your schedule and manage your business with a built-in personal organizer that keeps your busy schedule right on top.

Professional Entertainment Phone!
The new SGH-i300, more than smart, it’s about art with loads of music, megapixel imaging, video recording and Windows Mobile OS.
The i300 is a candy-bar device and what makes it so unique is the fact that it has a 3 GB hard disk drive to store all type of files and applications as well a mechanical navigation wheel. In addition, for sure, it has the built-in memory as well as a microSD (previously known as TransFlash) memory card slot. Also it features a 1.3 megapixel camera with photo light, Bluetooth (but no W-LAN), a navigation-pad which also can be used as scroll wheel, a 65K color - QVGA (240×320 pixel) screen and is a tri-band GSM/GPRS (GSM 900/1800/1900 MHz) phone but misses support for GSM 850 MHz as well as UMTS WCDMA support.
Windows Mobile Smartphones aren’t the rarities they once were, but the SGH-i300 is something a little different, being the only Windows Mobile Smartphone with a built-in hard drive.
The mechanical drive very quietly clicks away to provide 3GB of storage. There’s a bit more free storage on the handset and a slot for a MicroSD card on the right edge too, just in case that 3GB doesn’t meet all your needs.
Microsoft updated its Windows Mobile Smartphone operating system last year, but the SGH-i300 runs the previous version. This isn’t really a huge deal; you still get texting, MMS, e-mail, calendar, to-do list, voice notes, Pocket Internet Explorer and more, as well as Outlook 2002 for your PC and ActiveSync for synchronising.

Mobile Office with Windows Mobile 5.0
Running on the Windows Mobile 5.0 Operating System, the Samsung Ultra Messaging i600 is equipped with MS Direct Push Technology that giving users accessibility to their work and schedules anytime, anywhere. This ensures users enjoy entertainment and receive information in the same way they would with their home desktop or laptop.
Samsung releases another one of its Ultra Series Ultra-thin phones, this time tackling the high-end market with a Windows Mobile (5.0 though and not 6.0) and a Qwerty keyboard
This is the first Samsung smartphone that features 1.8Mbps high-speed downlink packet access (HSDPA). In addition, 3G UMTS, GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity is supported, along with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. It also supports web applications such as podcasting and RSS Reader.
The handset itself is extremely compact, measuring 11.3 x 5.9 x 1.2cm and weighing in at a very lightweight 105g. It feels robust and well made and it can certainly withstand the day-to-day bumps of a busy lifestyle - even just trying to crowbar the back cover off to put a SIM card in was a traumatic experience. The black casing has a tactile feel and provides a comfortable grip. It has a large, beautifully clear 2.3in colour screen, which offers 65,536 colours - the resolution’s 320 x 240 pixels - on a TFT LCD display. A key feature of the i600 is its micro QWERTY keyboard, which is surprisingly fat finger-friendly, unlike many of the micro keyboards found on similar devices.
Sadly, the headphone socket shares the charger connection point - which also doubles as the USB port, so you cannot charge while listening to music or using the headphones as a handsfree set. Navigating around the device is remarkably easy. Most of the main functions appear in the Start menu accessible by pressing one of the hotkeys on the left of the scroll wheel. These hotkeys offer a number of options when tapped, which change according to what’s on the screen. The Home key, as you’d expect brings you neatly back to the main window, that shows any due appointments, missed calls, emails and icons for primary applications.
