Mobile Office with Windows Mobile 5.0

Running on the Windows Mobile 5.0 Operating System, the Samsung Ultra Messaging i600 is equipped with MS Direct Push Technology that giving users accessibility to their work and schedules anytime, anywhere. This ensures users enjoy entertainment and receive information in the same way they would with their home desktop or laptop.

Samsung releases another one of its Ultra Series Ultra-thin phones, this time tackling the high-end market with a Windows Mobile (5.0 though and not 6.0) and a Qwerty keyboard

This is the first Samsung smartphone that features 1.8Mbps high-speed downlink packet access (HSDPA). In addition, 3G UMTS, GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity is supported, along with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. It also supports web applications such as podcasting and RSS Reader.

The handset itself is extremely compact, measuring 11.3 x 5.9 x 1.2cm and weighing in at a very lightweight 105g. It feels robust and well made and it can certainly withstand the day-to-day bumps of a busy lifestyle - even just trying to crowbar the back cover off to put a SIM card in was a traumatic experience. The black casing has a tactile feel and provides a comfortable grip. It has a large, beautifully clear 2.3in colour screen, which offers 65,536 colours - the resolution’s 320 x 240 pixels - on a TFT LCD display. A key feature of the i600 is its micro QWERTY keyboard, which is surprisingly fat finger-friendly, unlike many of the micro keyboards found on similar devices.

Sadly, the headphone socket shares the charger connection point - which also doubles as the USB port, so you cannot charge while listening to music or using the headphones as a handsfree set. Navigating around the device is remarkably easy. Most of the main functions appear in the Start menu accessible by pressing one of the hotkeys on the left of the scroll wheel. These hotkeys offer a number of options when tapped, which change according to what’s on the screen. The Home key, as you’d expect brings you neatly back to the main window, that shows any due appointments, missed calls, emails and icons for primary applications.

This GSM tri-band also offers a brilliant 2.0” TFT Color Screen, MP3 player, video recording, stereo Bluetooth and MicroSD slot, among other desirable options. Chockfull of enhanced features, the SGH-E250 lets you slide right into high style.

Mobile phone Samsung Sgh-E250 is elegant and comfortable mobile phone. This mobile phone is not expensive but don’t think that this means it’s not worth to buy. I think that for such a price You should definetly buy it becouse it has so much options that avarage phones don’t have. It’s realy small weight only 80 g, bluetooth, 1.3 Mpix VGA photo camera, mp3 player and also FM radio. I think that’s great! Display is also great 128×160 pixels an 65536 colors. It’s realy pleasure to take photos with this phone and than show pictures to Your friends.
There is few things that gives this phone few minuses: small memory and don’t have Irda. One of these minuses You can purchase - You can buy microSD memory card and enlarge memory but Irda since there is bluetooth is in second place so use bluetooth and don’t think about Irda. Menu as all Samsungs is simple and easy to use.
I suggest this phone to everyone young, old, man or women this phone will like all of You.

It’s this problem that Samsung is trying to tackle with the new E250. The E250 is a very inexpensive all-in-one phone. It looks very stylish and only costs Rs. 7,000. Will the E250 revive Samsung’s performance in the lower mid-range segment alongside The Nokia 6085 and the Sony Ericsson Z550i? Let’s find out.
The E250 is also one of the first three phones that Samsung has launched with security features such as Mobile Tracker, Emergency SOS alert and Privacy lock. We’ll talk about those later.

The E250 looks hot. It’s slim, it’s stylish and it’s a slider. In fact, the E250 is the only slider phone that looks this good and sells for this price. Compared to the 6085 and the Z550i, the E250 clearly stands out. Unlike other low-end slider phones, the E250 has a spring-loaded slider, so you just need to nudge it up or down and it does the rest by itself. The little ridge right below the screen (which facilitates sliding the phone open) is a little too flat in the E250, making it a little difficult to use. You’ll be better off sliding the phone up by holding its sides. The sliding construct, however, feels solid and has very, very little play. It won’t break easily.

Color Meets VGA Camera

A simply stylish VGA camera phone with all your mobile essentials and more.

The SGH-X520 is a combination of a very sophisticated design and irresistible trims…”, says Samsung’s Russian portal. And while we might not agree with the statement on the design, since even Samsung’s line-up proposes a handful of more eye-candy solutions, the color schemes that the X520 comes in, look like everything, but something ordinary.

The phone is available in five different trims: light-green, red, pink and violet. On the one hand, the trims offered by the X520 aren’t that groundbreaking, because we have see a lot of devices employing these colors to date. But it is Samsung X520 that looks quite out of the ordinary in these color schemes, thanks to the mix (for both the fascia and the rear) of glossy and matt plastic, which seems somewhat new.

The SGH-X520’s bold two-colour design is simple enough, but quite striking to look at. For on-the-move entertainment, the Samsung X520 comes with a built-in FM radio.

The specifications are certainly nothing to write home about, but it’s a nice looking device and as it only weighs 78 grams, it’s very lightweight too.

It’s not a phone for technology freaks, but the SGH-X520’s striking design and straightforward layout, combined with the light weight and (presumably) inexpensive price tag means that the Samsung X520 could be quite a popular phone for prepay/pay-as-you-go customers.

A Mobile GPS Phone That Takes You Where You Want to Go

Samsung’s SGH-i550 is a multimedia mobile equipped with GPS and trackball navigation. Packed with premium features including a 3.2 Megapixel camera, music player, web browser and S60, the compact bar has an extra large 2.6” TFT display that showcases the most accurate maps using enhanced GPS technology. Slim enough to travel with you everywhere, this mobile will give you directions, too.

This is a very feature laden device that should garner the attention of those that thought the Nokia N95 was just a bit too bulky for every day use. While it sports only a 3.2 megapixel camera in contrast to the N95’s 5mp shooter, it does still offer auto-focus. Certain versions of the i550 will also come equipped with a full GPS module built-in, and all i550 phones will feature tri-band GSM (900/1800/1900MHz) as well as HSDPA on the 2100MHz frequency band.

With a candy bar-type design, the new Samsung i550 is based on Symbian OS™ v9.2 and is on display at the Samsung stand at the Symbian Smartphone Show. Also based on S60 3rd Edition, Feature Pack 1, Samsung i550 users can choose from thousands of applications from the S60 applications library and have access to their favorites by using dedicated hot keys. With the GPS navigator function, voice activated turn-by-turn guidance makes it easy for car drivers to find directions while pedestrian mode offers specific locations and directions at walking speeds.

Perhaps the most interesting aspect of the SGH-i550 is its trackball navigation control, something even Nokia has so far failed to offer on an S60 device. While the trackball still seemed to need a bit of fine tuning on the prototype we used, it still seems like a very sensible addition to the S60 platform - especially when it comes to web browsing. The trackball gives users near mouse level cursor control on web pages, which has been about the only thing the otherwise fine S60 browser was lacking.
