Slide up to your VGA Camera

Slide into action with the SGH-X530, Samsung’s first entry-level VGA camera phone in slide form factor.

The X530’s VGA camera snaps images at a resolution of up to 640×480, and it has a number of effects including grey, negative and sepia, as well as a three, five and 10 second self-timer. It also has a self-portrait mirror, frames, and the ability to rotate pictures. Being a VGA camera its fine for a few happy snaps but naturally not good enough for any real photography. The X530 has just 600KB of internal memory, so you are only able to store a minimal amount of photos.

With your own VGA camera, just slide & shoot - it¡¦s that simple. The SGH-X530 makes it easy for you to save those special moments and share. Just store your photos as JPEG files and send via EMS and MMS to your chosen recipients. Decide on your frame with 4X digital zoom, and from numerous photo effects and sizes for visual variety. Be assured of sharp, accurate color with CMOS sensor to impart strong detail and definition. The flexibility of the self-timer gives you a chance to enter the picture. Be spontaneous, and click on pleasure. You¡¦ll see everything crystal clear with the sumptuous 65,536 TFT Color screen, and enjoy high quality images for an exceptional visual experience. Generously-sized at 1.9¡¨, this display makes the most of its slide-up design. Superior color depth delivers bright vivid images, with 128×160 pixel image resolution giving satisfying results of your picture-taking or received MMS. The ample-size screen also enables you to read up to seven interrupted lines of text. See it large and alive
